Parade & Opening Ceremony

Sugar Grove Corn Boil Festival Parade & Opening Ceremony

Please join us Friday, July 27th @ 5pm

The Sugar Grove Corn Boil is dedicating the 2018 Festival to our First Responders and have invited local first responders, boy/girl scouts, churches, and other local organizations to participate in the parade.

In honor of our “First Responders”, the Sugar Grove Corn Boil wants to raise awareness, support, celebrate and simply say “Thank You” to them. Every year the committee looks to lending its voice to worthy causes. Every day, First Responders put their lives on the line to ensure our safety.  They are everyday heroes that don’t ask for special attention. They are fellow members of our communities; our neighbors, our friends, and members of our family.

The parade will start at 5pm, and conclude at the main stage at Shields school. We are expecting to have various emergency response vehicles; police cards, fire trucks, command trailers, etc.

Any local group/or organization, or first responder is welcome to participate in the parade. We have ask all parade participants to be at the starting point (at Bastian Drive and Municipal Drive) at 4:30pm on Friday, July 27.
