The Carnival at the Sugar Grove Corn Boil

Due to circumstances outside our control, the carnival company has decided to pull out of our event. Please understand that Wilson Family Show, our carnival vendor, is under written contract for the dates of Thursday July 28th through Sunday July 31st 2022 festival. Words can not express the anger and disappointment that the entire committee feels. We understand how important having a carnival is to our event. Due to this we are working on legal recourse based on contractual law.

Upon receiving word of the cancellation, we immediately tried to problem solve and reached out to other carnival companies. We did find another company that was willing to join our festival, but communication became difficult when trying to finalize details. Late last week, one of our committee members received a text that this carnival company would not be coming. This is not an ideal situation and we have tried to make due with what we have. Please know we put in an extraordinary effort to try and find a replacement for the carnival. While this is extremely upsetting, we are thrilled that we are still able to continue our tradition of the Corn Boil by bringing wonderful live music, delicious food, and other exciting events like the car show, food truck Thursday, movie night, fireworks, and craft show. We were also able to find two companies that will bring in additional carnival food  concessions and carnival games along with a small kid zone.
